Gene Tang

Gene Tang is the Head of Professional Services and Onboarding Delivery at Rackspace Asia-Pacific Japan. He oversees the company’s portfolio of professional services in the region, working with customers to deliver bespoke projects that produce seamless transitions to target platforms or to public cloud which improve their business and IT agility.

Gene is also responsible for defining Rackspace’s professional services strategy and offerings in Asia and prioritizes listening to customers’ business challenges. Gene has brought his passion and expertise in Multi-cloud Computing and Big Data to life at Rackspace for over nine years, working in roles including Systems Engineer, Senior Solutions Architect and Head of Solutions Architecture in London, Hong Kong and Singapore.
