Graduated from Durham University with a high 2:1 BA Hons in History. At University, co-founded numerous societies to promote accessibility and learning across campus. Co-founded the BSL society to ensure learning BSL is accessible to all students, and co-founded Durham Women in Politics and Women of Labour.
As Chair of Durham University Labour Club undertook considerable charity work such as arranging and running the first inter-society Christmas Charity Drive around campus, ran a successful campaign for Student Union Staff to be paid the Living Wage, all whilst undertaking year-long internship for MP Roberta Blackman-Woods.
