DIR AI Cooperative Contract

Rackspace Technology was publicly awarded the following contract vehicle through a competitively bidded solicitation by lead agency State of Texas: Department of Information Resources (DIR).

Rackspace US, Inc. (Rackspace Technology®) holds contracts with the State of Texas through the DIR Cooperative Contracts Program.

Description

This DIR Cooperative Contract Program allows eligible customers to purchase services directly from a DIR-contracted vendor. Customers contact the vendor for service pricing information. They also send their purchase orders with the DIR contract number and payments directly to the DIR Cooperative Contracts Program vendor, not to DIR.  This accelerates the procurement of services by streamlining the order process. AI Services is a DIR Cooperative Contract Program contract, so you can go directly to Rackspace for projects in the following areas:

  • Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
  • Natural Language Processing (NLP)
  • Computer Vision (CV)
  • Digital Assistant (DA)

Services offered

  • Foundry for AI by Rackspace (FAIR™)
    • Ideate (2-4 weeks): We help you establish desirability, readiness, goals and guardrails for the adoption of AI through an interactive and collaborative ideation engagement.

Instructions for obtaining a quote & placing a purchase order

Step 1. Customers should contact the Rackspace Representative shown below.

Step 2. Customers and vendors may work together to define service requirements, roles, and responsibilities.

Step 3. Customers should negotiate the pricing of deliverables directly with the vendor.

Step 4a. Customers may negotiate the terms and conditions of a Service Agreement to suit their business needs, as long as the Service Agreement terms and conditions do not conflict with or weaken the terms of the contract.

Step 4b. State Agency Customers must adhere to the requirements of Texas Government Code 2157.068 relating to DIR Cooperative Contracts and purchasing thresholds. State Agencies are required to submit a draft and final Statement of Work (SOW) to DIR for Review and approval prior to award. Threshold and SOW review and signature processes do not apply to Institutes of higher education, K-12, local governments, assistance organizations, or out-of-state Customers.

Step 5. Customer issues a purchase order (PO) made payable to Rackspace US, Inc. based on the negotiated specifications in accordance with the Service Agreement, and the Vendor begins work upon receipt of PO. The vendor then invoices the Customer. (DIR Contract Number DIR-CPO-5155 must be referenced on the PO.)

Warranties and Returns

Please note that warranty and return policies are not applicable as we exclusively provide services on DIR-CPO-5155, not physical goods. Rackspace does not provide any warranties under this contract other than a commitment to delivering services according to professional standards and confirming our customer's defined specifications. Rackspace does not offer returns for services already provided.
