We asked 1,420 IT decision-makers from around the world to share their perspectives on application and data modernization in relation to their own cloud journeys. Now the results of our survey of are available to you. Following are just a few of the beneficial insights you will find in this complimentary report:

• Nine out of 10 respondents said that AI is a reason, or is the main reason, that modernization is essential.
• Some 80% agree that failure to modernize legacy applications and data solutions will prevent them from fully leveraging AI.
• The average respondent had 22 legacy systems or applications currently in use within their organization, tying up 29% of their IT budget.

Our research captures the responses of IT decision-makers across a wide range of business sectors, including biotech, energy, financial services, government/public sector, healthcare, manufacturing, media and entertainment, and retail. We worked in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Coleman Parkes Research to collect responses from survey participants in the Americas, APJ and EMEA regions in May 2023.
